Students LOVE to give their opinions.
Sometimes to the detriment of a well-planned lesson. Sometimes when we didn't ask. But always with conviction!
I created a few sets of Opinion Writing activities and Speaking & Listening task cards to help facilitate opinion giving, writing, and explaining.
I have purchased and used Would you rather scenarios with students in the past for writing assignments. Unlike other writing prompts, I found that students could quickly respond to these. They could make one decision or the other and explain why. As a whole, my students enjoyed these writing experiences.
Happy student writers make this teacher very happy!
📣The standards used for this product are a combination of measures from several grade levels and are not labeled, allowing educators to use these materials across grade levels.
