Do you need an activity that focuses on character analysis?
Challenge your students to create a Character Logo!
Students will design and create a logo representing a character from the fiction text of choice. This activity will showcase a student's ability to analyze any character's actions, feelings, and attributes.
Students also have the opportunity to describe and explain how the logo represents their character with a writing assignment included!
I wish that I had thought of this YEARS ago. Having taught students of various abilities, I cannot think of one who would not have been able to complete this activity successfully.
This is an inclusive way to explore character analysis creatively!

The way that I see it...
Activities that delve into character analysis can be fun and accessible for students. Creating the logo should be a success for all students, as it is their interpretation of the character. Scaffold the writing component or leave it out, but make sure to allow your students to share their "why." Â
